BATCE Alumni

Who Are We?

Welcome to the BATCE Alumni Association. We are graduates of both Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East. BATCE Alumni Association is a community where individuals can network, share ideas and uplift each other as members of the BATCE family.

Primarily, BATCE Alumni Association is dedicated to the promotion of the welfare of these two institutions of learning and the establishment of a mutually beneficial relationship between the schools and their alumni. As such, we aim to achieve the above by connecting the colleges with fellow graduates through a wealth of activities, the development of a robust Alumni network, continuing educational and mentorship programs, and alumni events development.

We aspire to leverage the talents, skills and abilities of past and present students to support our schools and transform communities. As an Alumni, we continue the tradition of selflessly serving our community and enjoying the company of some old friends along the way. Come serve with us as we seek to build a strong, stable and dynamic Alumni Association and subsequently impact positively individuals, lives and communities.

History of the Alumni

The BATCE Alumni Association was founded by Mr. Kerron Ottley and Ms. Jessica Ragbir and officially launched in October 11th 2014 in the form of a cocktail party. The association is governed by a constitution and comprises of past students, volunteering our services for the benefit of the BATCE Community. We are an independent group which works in collaboration with various groups of both schools, including the Parent Support Group to ensure that the interests of the schools are served whilst the integrity of the association is self-sustained.

The Association held the first AGM on October 21st 2017 to elect a completed executive with Ms. Jessica Ragbir as the President, to continue the start-up process of the Alumni. Thus far, the Alumni is known for their annual All Fours Competition fundraiser and support at various school events. We continue to collaborate with other Alumni Associations to build a stronger network and engage in fundraising activities.
