Kheisha Nicholls-De Souza - Principal
KHEISHA NICHOLLS-DE SOUZA was appointed Principal of Bishop Anstey High School East in 2023. A passionate educator and advocate for equity in education, she brings over 18 years of experience in teaching and leadership. Ms. Nicholls holds a BA in Literatures in English and Linguistics, a Diploma in Education, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership. She is currently pursuing a PhD focused on equity in education. Known for her student-centred approach and dedication to holistic development, she actively supports school initiatives such as the Cinderella Fund, the Back to School Blessing, and the Women Empowerment Series. Her leadership reflects a commitment to nurturing an inclusive and empowering environment for all students at BAHSE.
Nicole Boodhan Thomas - Vice Principal
NICOLE BOODHAN-THOMAS is the Vice Principal at Bishop Anstey High School East. She has been with the school since its inception in 2001 teaching English Language, Literature and Theatre Arts and taking on the responsibility of Head of Department and then Dean. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literatures in English, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education in the Teaching of English with distinction in practice and a Masters in Educational Leadership with distinction from the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. She has been an educator for a little over twenty-five years. She enjoys the dynamic and creative nature of education as well as the opportunity to serve others and be a part of their journey to self-actualization.
